LAGS White Grading Course & Certification

Our Latte Art courses offer a complete learning path, from the fundamentals to the most advanced techniques, with a practical approach focused on skill development. After an introduction to the importance of Latte Art in modern coffee service and the value of presentation, participants learn milk texturing techniques to achieve the ideal microfoam for creating patterns. The courses progressively cover basic designs (heart, leaf, tulip) and advanced figures such as rosettas and complex compositions, refining pouring techniques, flow control, and hand movements. Each course includes hands-on practice sessions and personalized feedback, with the goal of achieving full mastery of Latte Art and successfully passing the final grading assessment.

Program

The entry-level course, designed for participants who are new to Latte Art, focuses on learning the fundamentals of milk pouring and developing the first skills required to create basic patterns.

Patterns to be performed: 1 heart; 1 tulip with a total of 3 layers

Andrea Monteverdi

Over 30 years of 360-degree experience in the coffee sector. Experience gained living on plantations from South AMerica to the Far East. He is first Italian Barista CHampion and Specialty Coffee Association Authorized Trainer for all SCA modules since 2007. In 2012 he became the winner of the prestigious Passionate Educator Award and in both 2016 and 2017 he was awarded by Sca-Italy as Best Trainer Ambassador. Known all over the world for having developed and disseminated the Latte Art technique, he is a Certifier / Co-Founder of the Latte Art Grading System.
